Possible bug with tracker announces

Shortly after starting seeding a fresh torrent, I often see tracker responses listing multiple seeders, while I am definitely still the only one.
I assume there is some bug in a torrent client, likely Snark, announcing the torrent as complete after just having received the complete metadata.

I loved to use the stats page from postman,

But now it is kind of unusable, because of the unlikely high number of seeders:

Some weeks ago, maybe 1-2 month, the numbers were "real", e.g. 50-100 seeders max.
Is this maybe caused by the same issue in snark ?
