wolfcryptjni

Post by B0B »

After updating to 0.9.50 (and later versions) the router no longer starts up.

Most notable lines in "wrapper.log":

------------------
Starting I2P 0.9.50-0
2021/10/29 12:54:57 | INFO: Native CPUID library jcpuid-x86-windows loaded from file
2021/10/29 12:54:57 | WrapperSimpleApp:
2021/10/29 12:54:57 | WrapperSimpleApp Error: Encountered an error running main:
2021/10/29 12:54:57 | WrapperSimpleApp Error: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no wolfcryptjni in java.library.path: [C:\WinApps\i2p, C:\WinApps\i2p\lib]
------------------

and

------------------
2021/10/29 12:46:10 | Starting I2P 1.5.0-0
2021/10/29 12:46:10 | INFO: Native CPUID library jcpuid-x86-windows loaded from file
2021/10/29 12:46:10 | WrapperSimpleApp:
2021/10/29 12:46:10 | WrapperSimpleApp Error: Encountered an error running main:
2021/10/29 12:46:10 | WrapperSimpleApp Error: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no wolfcryptjni in java.library.path: [C:\WinApps\i2p, C:\WinApps\i2p\lib]
------------------

Replacing "i2p.jar" with one from an older backup (2021-07-06, CRC32: 864A1592) makes it work again while still showing "1.5.0-0" in the console. Of course it'll keep bugging me to update to 1.5.0 from there as it's a kind of an hybrid setup right now.

The only thing I know is that "wolfcryptjni" has something to do with SSL.

Forget about it.

For a really long time it was fun but without being able to get any support it's time to just give up. I mean... even the issue I wrote about over a year ago is still unanswered.

I'll just remove my regular i2p setup and install the standalone version of MuWire in stead. Problems solved.
