I have been trying several nodes.dat files from different sources.
My iMule-client shows me:

Users online: max. 80 (sometimes only 60)
Files online: 9k - 98 k

Is that normal? I mean worldwide there should be more than 80 users online, right?

Hi

it runs, great.
It shows 80 known users, this means: at least 80 users do use it, it also maybe 300 or 1000.
You will never see all active users.

Hi,

okay, i understand, thank you for the information.

The only problem is that if i search for some music or some movies, there are very little results, although iMule says that there are round about 200.000 files online.

Do i have to forward some ports or to change the config?

Hi

as long as I2P runs and iMule runs, showing active users and results, all is fine.
In my times of iMule usage, the search function found few results in first 30 sec and more after some time.
But as iMule does not run anymore on my system and the dev of iMule is gone, I cannot check anymore.

Hello.

I have found this imule .zip which contains imule 1.4.5 rev 749. --> https://imule.fileplanet.com/

It can be run in linux using wine.
It should work in windows too.

I would like the nodes.dat list and if you have the files around, the lastest imule build, which seems is not available since imule.i2p is not online.

PS: without the nodes.dat, i only can see: 10 users in Kad , 1000 files in Kad protocol.

Although i see that, the program does not search, and the Kad status shows 'disconnected'. I do not why.
The connection icon shows an orange/yellow arrow for server(but its disconnected) and a red arrow for kad(disconnected, but showing people).

yanol.

PS2: if you have the detailed build instruction for linux, i will appreciate it a lot!

I have update and working nodes list:

The latest version of iMule is 2.3.3.3:

Nachtblitz with changed bit which modifies its release date also works.

People nowadays are not interested in anonymously sharing files.

Hello.

Thank you very much for the files.
Since i am on Linux, and running the windows versions(the 1.4.5 i mentioned and the 2.3.3 provided in here) did not work sucessfully(1.4.5 was unable to download and 2.3.3 wine has problems to fetch nodes.dat URLS in my case), now i ask for a linux already compiled version, 'portable' in the best case.
I have been trying to compile several iMule versions, but i have always errors in the build process, in different parts. Does anybody has a linux working build nowadays?
I understand the code is old and that would be the problem in my building process.
I have yet to try the source code of the 2.3.3 you provided, will update in case that one works for me.

Thanks.
