There has been a great conversation happening over on zzz's forum about what I2P needs to attract more users.
Suggestions have been more apps, an easy to use messenger and an easier installation where browser/ proxy configuration was bundled.
A more simplified control panel with most used features only, with the option to switch to the current version may help as well.
Content is also important. We should tell people about eepsites, and encourage them to create sites. Also we could improve our tutorials where we can to to support users.
Last, and this would go back to the point about making installation easier - normal applications - blogs, forums, sites, could be pre-configured for media professionals. Also have generally understandable descriptions written down for safe use.
Thank you to everyone who has made these suggestions, and I encourage anyone who may have used I2P and given up to let me know why.
