Does someone how how to install Robert client on linux?

I downloaded 0.0.40 from echelon.i2p.
Running the install application an error occurs:

Checking Python and wxPython compliance:
Testing 'python 2.7' : Failed with code 1, No wxPython.
Testing 'python 2.6' : Failed with code 127, Not found.
Testing 'python 2.5' : Failed with code 127, Not found.
Testing 'python' : Failed with code 1, No wxPython.
No usable python found.

I am running Python 2.7.15rc1.
Can somebody help me?

sorry, no idea, Robert is unsupported for over 3 years now.
I would not bet on getting is running on recent systems.
The robert dev is gone for that time, to.
