Re: Susimail without I2P Java
Responsible for the development and organization of SusiMail and the I2P email system are "idk" and "postman". So these two are the right contact persons. Therefore this "official" request, if a standalone version of SusiMail is planned and when to expect it, was exact...

Re: Susimail without I2P Java
These special solutions for special purposes do not lead to the goal, because most of the participants cannot understand it. In other words, it is too complicated for the general public. According to the I2P homepage SusiMail is an integral part of I2P. With the further development and/or the portin...

Re: Susimail without I2P Java
http://i2p-projekt.i2p/en/docs/protocol/i2cpThe I2P Client Protocol (I2CP) exposes a strong separation of concerns between the router and any client that wishes to communicate over the network.

Re: anyone can compare Tutanota / protonmail / i2pmail ?
The aforementioned providers for communicating with the outside world have one more thing in common: they are basically abused. This leads to them being labeled as spam across the board. If you want to be sure that your mail reaches its recipients and is read, you should also take this into account.

git clone git.idk.i2p: unexpected disconnect
For reasons I don't know, Git failed to duplicate the repository over three attempts in the past few days. What is the reason, can I fix this or is the problem on the archive side? #+begin_quote git clone http://git.idk.i2p/i2p-hackers/i2p.www.git Klone nach 'i2p.www'... remote: Enumerating objects:...

Re: i2p tech question about dns
They have already explained the system clearly. Here are more basics: RFC 1035: Domain names - implementation and specification . And it follows for I2P that it should be a self-contained network: I2P does not promote the use of DNS-like services though, as the damage done by hijacking a site can be...

Re: Susimail without I2P Java
There are several possibilities. It should be possible to set the Java Router so that I2Pd does the routing. Unfortunately I already forgot where I read that. Secondly, I2Pmail behaves like any other email system, quote: "I2Pmail is more a service than an application - postman offers both inter...

Re: where can i find more plugins, i cannot visit i2pwiki
Addendum: Many of the links mentioned in the I2P Wiki now point to sites that are no longer active after the member has left. Among them are the sites zzz.i2p and stats.i2p. For known reasons, the I2P Wiki is updated only sporadically. Until then, you'll have to mentally filter out these links ;-)

Re: zzz and the state of i2p Java router development
Re: http://i2p-projekt.i2p/en/contact As you can see for yourself, the tasks have been reassigned and I2P is now under new management. Meanwhile echelon additionally takes over the task of the packager for OSX. The developer eyedeekay or short idk takes over the programming of the Java Router as wel...
