Re: How to be safer(maybe)

Hi Ok, just to know what it does: hidden mode - it does prohibite the save of your IP/router ID in other routers ID, this results in other nodes won´t connect to you, but you still connect to others. The ones you connect to still have your IP. It results in mayor performance malus. Disable INGOING I...

Re: IP Addresses

Hi

Could, but do not. Also those are rather useless, as they do change every router restart by default.

Re: Addressbook not updating from subscriptions?

Hi

759 entries are far more than the default distibuted amount of hosts.txt entries.
So you did add some manually or subscription did already work.

If subscription method cannot do any addons to the current addressbook, check access rights, but if there are no errors, all look OK so far.

Re: Auto Logout ~5 Minutes?

hey the timeout is currently 30 min, wonder why you are logged out before. Currently we cannot find the point in which this 30 min timeout is extended, as all known tips & tricks failed. Current hack around is to save user/password in browser password store and login automaticly with that. echelon

Re: Router Family

Hi automatic content distribution is a nice idea, but router family is on a different level of network topology :-) Depending on the setup of a router family, a rsync job can do this task already. although with multihoming you still have the content 3-way-merge issue and other small hickups. So, nic...

Re: Use *@mail.i2p email addresses

Hi

That has been helpful to find the correct place :-). I changed the mail checker function to allow a i2p TLD in addition to all current accepted.
Now I need to check the mail forward (not in phpBB, thats handled by the server itself, no need to fiddle with that functions).

Re: HowTo setup a new Outproxy as a user to be used

Hi! Ask your browser howto setup different proxies, usual use a plugin for this (as described above). It is not I2P task neither expertise. Also I2P is not meant to use for proxy into clearnet, and the proxy is not run by I2P, it is provided by private people. Ask those persons about the performance...

Re: HowTo setup a new Outproxy as a user to be used

Hi! If you start with this, lets go on: - why do you use a commercial hardware? - why do you use a commercial operating system? - why do you use a commercial browser? That are all points which are not under your control, so if you are such strict with a well known plugin, you should consider every s...
