Re: Custom email server
Hello Its a bit of a load, but rather simple. For clarinet: setup a email server/gateway in clarinet as usual and forward ALL mail to your i2p email server, maybe you need a address rewrite. For outgoing it is the same, from the i2p mails server, send the email to the clarinet server and that one do...

Re: i2p speed & tunnels quantities
Hi you can set up to 16 tunnels per destination in config file. But I2P will use only 1 tunnel per connection. AKA: if you e.g. use ftp with a single connection, it will only use 1, even if 16 are available, Or with torrent: if you got 16 active tunnels, but only 1 seed, it will use only 1 tunnel. B...

Re: I2P 2.4.0 Release
Hi
Today I built the Mac 2.4.0 release on my Mac, but cannot sign it for Mac Apple Store distribution.

In this case, I am torrenting from tracker2.postman.i2p , that means, it is up to how many hops the postman service is using, am I understanding this right? >With only 1 hop, an attacker need to cont...

Re: torrenting and hops
Hi Your connection between server and client is 2 times 3 hops per direction. If you set it to 1 hop, the server may still use 3 hops. You only control one half of the tunnels. With only 1 hop, an attacker need to control only that one to collect data which may identify you. With 2 hops, it needs 2 ...

Re: Question about subscription list conflicts.
Hi
Conflicts do not exist (tm).
The first entry wins (AFAIk you may change this behaviour).
And if you try to add a different address under the same name with a addresshelper, a warning do happen with choosing "keep old, keep new".

Re: Anonymity of clearnet mirrored torrents
Hi you cannot download clearnet torrents with I2P.. So either: - clearnet, and all visible as always or - I2P, and all runs through I2P and no IP addresses involved in process, just I2P destinations Some client do provide the function to use both ways at once. Either way has the limits as written ab...
