Re: Percentage downloaded is less than sum of uploads

That pattern does ring a bell. About a month ago I was the only seeder(qbittorrent) and there was one leach(i2psnark). File was quite big so over few days I observed that the reported upload(by my client) was "consistently" 2X the reported progress by the leach. The upload was 50KiB/sec, I...

Re: [Guide] How to set up qBittorrent 4.6 in i2p mode

Extra tip: DO NOT USE Encryption mode: Require encryption WHEN USING qBittorrent ON I2P !!! Yes you can still download from other qBittorrent users but MOST users on I2P use I2PSnark that does not support encryption. Why? Because I2P already encrypts all data! In case you use Mix mode and require en...

Thank you @anikey on confirmation and extra advice.
I think you didn't have to go in such detail on SSH but at least it now look more like a guide.

Re: Summary of Questions from Chinese users

Floodfill routers, which is 385. While lower then my(1500) I would still assume 385 is still a good number. Then again if they did not have LeaseSet[1] for the websites you want to visit a lot would be explained. Something like a Bootstrap Attacks[1] would be one way to make you connect only to adv...

Re: Summary of Questions from Chinese users

Assuming you have read this Reseed ->Other Ways Of Reseeding frequently restart the i2p client Also assuming your router is running at least 24h before trying to use i2p(it can be less) I would guess that there is not much you yourself can do about it. Hope someone more knowledgeable then me can fin...

Allowing access to I2P router on the local LAN

I would like to access I2P router running on another device on my LAN. Idea is to have older PC or Raspberry Pi or some cheap copy of it running all the time with i2pd router on it and then connect to i2p console and http/SAM tunnels with my main PC. Question is how do I do the connection part. Ther...

Re: Did qBittorrent remove I2P support or am I just using the software wrong?

If you are using Linux make sure to pick following in the AppImage choices.

5.1.0 (qt6 lt20) Uses Qt6 and libtorrent 2.0.x series.

That one has the I2P support.

Re: [Guide] How to set up qBittorrent 4.6 in i2p mode

@anikey, it's possible that SAM alone did not work when tutorial was made. Using proxy should not have major(if any) performance benefits. In fact if you decide to have two instances of qBittorrent running(only I2P and mix) connecting to the same proxy will make it possible to correlate two instance...

Re: Question: Tunnels and "fingerprinting"

@lgillis-"you can also do it this way, it saves you the trouble of writing" 1. I'm saving a lot of time by writing because with the info you have given me reading the docs and understanding the router console is much easier. 2. @anikey, yes Java version does offer a nice wizard for creatin...
