I'm using Tor Browser because I believe the people behind the Tor Project have done a good job making this browser secure.

I also believe your Mixnet connections should be entirely separate from your Clearnet connections with it going down to the Browser Level.

What browser are you using and why

Edit: watched the Sam Bent video. The Tor Project is no longer making the best decisions for privacy...

A paranoid level setup is when you run a regular browser (Firefox) inside a container/VM that has no internet access, and forward all ports from the I2P router into the VM using special mechanisms (or a private network between host and VM).
This provides very lots of isolation from regular browsing.
Also don't forget to disable javascript (and enable for specific sites only when required). You can try uMatrix for this.

The choice is limited because website operators require web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome or their derivatives.

I like to use Emacs EWW to quickly look something up. But with smaller web browsers like Links2 or EWW you won’t get very far here. Either the browsers are stuck in the last millennium or the source code of the site is so optimised for large web browsers that the web pages are not displayed in other browsers. Sometimes the site also suspects an alien attack and actively blocks access, such as Postman’s

I use Firefox most of the time. Firefox has tab environments that keep the various connections in the browser separated from each other as groups, a local translation program that can now also translate from Russian and many other useful things that I wouldn't want to do without.

Tinyproxy runs at the very bottom of the system and establishes the connections to Tor, I2P or the Internet. I use Unbound as a DNS resolver, which also blocks known sites for advertising and trackers.

Don't you know that Mozilla has betrayed the Privacy Community? You should be using a fork like Ablaze Floorp.

One distro (Zorin OS) so far has switched from Firefox to Brave in protest of this.

You Give Mozilla Certain Rights and Permissions

You give Mozilla the rights necessary to operate Firefox. This includes processing your data as we describe in the Firefox Privacy Notice. It also includes a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license for the purpose of doing as you request with the content you input in Firefox. This does not give Mozilla any ownership in that content.

Also, you should have switched from Mozilla a year ago as things have gone downhill inside of the company || foundation.

Oof, sorry. In my mind, using a privacy network with a spyware application doesn't make sense to me. And besides, I really don't like most of the things Mozilla does especially with the fact they want to politically censor people. This was a knee jerk reaction that probably shouldn't have happened...

What have you done in your about:config to mitigate these issues? Maybe you're running it in a virtual machine?

i stick to librewolf/mullvad/tor browsers. i have a separate setup for non clearnet things, could do the same thing with VMs it's just more convenient for me to have a disposable laptop for darknets. i do the "paranoid level setup" and just block everything that's not needed

No problem. But it is now your duty to pass on your knowledge to the good people here. In a separate thread you can convince the interested participants that your repeated insinuation - that Mozilla Firefox is "spyware application " and "has betrayed the Privacy Community" and "the fact they want to politically censor people" - is not a false allegation of fact. This cannot be deduced from what you have written so far. Especially since you only quote what is convenient for you, and you simply leave out other sources that contradict you.
